M. Cavallier is the ERP Project Manager at Crouzet Automatismes, an independent mechatronics manufacturer serving the aeronautics, transport and energy industries. His functions concern the internal support of the ERP, but also the entire management of the EDI deployments component: processing customer requests, analyzing flows with its sales and IT teams until final production.
He said that the issues of EDI deployments are to save time compared to manual tasks and receipt confirmations (shipments, invoices, etc.). It also allows to retain customers with the flows set up, to give the image of a reactive company and in the era of digitalization.
Orchestrade allows it to track the flows received and sent, a traceability of all original documents and their translation. The platform also allows to think and streamline on processing processes and internal needs in order to address as many customers as possible.
EDI is now recognized at Crouzet, and is a lever for clients to recognize who they need to know with which partners they can exchange in the digital format, and reflect on the “Procure to Pay” and “Order to Cash”, issues that make it possible to meet the new needs and processes of their trading partners.
